The Peacock Garden is an Oasis of Tranquility

We were looking for a secluded getaway that would afford peace and relaxation -- and we got it in spades. The Peacock Garden offers an atmosphere of utter tranquility. We visited just after New Year, past the Christmas peak and we couldn't have chosen a better time, in my view. From the free shuttle pick-up from the airport, the welcoming drink of watermelon and pineapple (pinakwan), the spotlessly clean and well-appointed room with delightful view of the sea, the incredibly soothing dip in the infinity pool -- everything combined to make the stay a balm for frayed nerves. There is a remarkably wide range of cuisines on the menu -- and the fish dishes in particular (e.g. whole tilapia) were cooked to perfection. The staff are discreet and attentive. The laundry service is efficient and amazing value. My abiding memory is of the chorus of the cicadas, the rustle of the trees, the distant crow of roosters -- nature's glorious riposte to muzak.
A delightful stay.

This is a small, exclusive, away-from-it-all, luxury resort and it's absolutely fantastic! I would return in a heartbeat!

The best thing about the Peacock Garden is its staff and the exemplary service that they provide. Every single staff member went out of their way to ensure that your experience was memorable and as good as it possibly could be - nothing was too much trouble.

On arrival at Tagbilaran airport we were met by the hotel shuttle and were taken to the resort. Whilst we were checking in, we were offered a refreshing drink and given a mini tour of the facilities whilst being taken to our room. We appeared to be the only guests on our first night and were joined by no more than ten others during our five nights there.

The room was delightful with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, superbly efficient air conditioning and luxurious L'Occitane toiletries. There seemed to be an endless choice of cable TV channels and fast wifi.

The restaurant is excellent. The food was, almost always, excellent with a daily menu as well as a standard menu featuring Filipino favorites and European cuisine. In particular, the fish dishes were delicious. The breakfast buffet is quite small (but of very high quality) and is accompanied with a freshly-cooked hot choice which you can chose from a wide selection.

The outside space is fantastic with a super olympic-size infinity pool and space to relax and enjoy the sun. We used the spa facilities several times. The spa is so relaxing and the treatments were really great and we felt truly pampered.

This place is simply superb and, whilst quite pricey, is well worth every penny.
